?? True leadership goes beyond driving performance—it’s about building a culture where people can genuinely thrive. For leaders, this means prioritising the well-being of your team. For stakeholders, it’s about empowering leaders to make well-being a core focus. Together, we can create a workplace that supports both mental health and high performance. ??
?
?? Leaders: Are you actively checking in on your team’s mental health, stress levels, and work-life balance?
?
?? Stakeholders: Are you providing the necessary resources to make well-being a sustainable priority?
?
Well-being isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a lasting investment in your people and the success of your organisation. Here’s a challenge for both leaders and stakeholders:
?
?? Questions for Leaders:
1. How consistently do I check in on my team’s mental well-being?
2. Am I fostering a culture of care alongside high performance?
3. What concrete steps am I taking to prevent burnout?
?
?? Questions for Stakeholders:
1. Are we offering enough resources to help leaders support their teams’ mental health?
2. How are we ensuring well-being remains a priority and not a one-time initiative?
3. Do we measure the impact of our leadership practices on team well-being?
?
Together, let’s lead with care and commitment to the well-being of our people. ????

3 个月Thank you Andrew Nowak for this insightful article on leadership and organizational culture. I would like to enhance and extend the discussion as follows. 1. I see ACCOUNTABILITY missing as a foundational component of organizational culture- and it should apply consistently to individual performers, team members, managers, as well as leaders. Workers’ autonomy and engagement or involvement and supervisor’s support are additional areas of importance to a healthy work environment. 2. Stakeholders need to widen their scope to include areas like citizenship or corporate social responsibility, climate, and environment.
