Welding Seamless Bus Pipe in Ontario

Welding Seamless Bus Pipe in Ontario

This past summer (June 2016), marked another first for us.  Rob Dorey from Black & McDonald had found our shelters online and wanted to try them out, welding aluminum bus pipe at a substation just in Oshawa, Ontario.

We knew they would work well at height, as they have been used this way in the Oil sands to weld steel piping.  Our new customer was very impressed, as were we at how well they performed on this job.

When the job was completed we asked him for his feedback.  “Hex-Hut tents worked great for us welding electrical pipe bus at 50ft with no scaffolding. I am 100% satisfied and impressed. We saved huge going with Hex-Hut both on cost and time.”

So thank you Rob, and Black & McDonald for being forward thinking and looking for a new and different way to do things!!  We appreciate the support!
