Welcoming Our Newest Batch of Summer Interns @ TiVo India.

"Step Up", the bi-annual Intern Onboarding Program, is a key hiring initiative for TiVo India. We have received extremely positive responses in the past, which have been widely appreciated and encouraged by the TiVo leadership team.

This year, on August 5th, I’m happy to say that we successfully onboarded 14 interns from some of the best universities around the country. It was a great day for all of us (which started a bit earlier than usual!). I could clearly see the excitement on the interns’ faces as they waited eagerly for the day to begin. Most of them had come to Bangalore for the first time and were particularly thrilled about the weather on that beautiful Monday morning!

 We started our day with a grand welcome ceremony, followed by a quick introduction to the site leadership team, as well as a cake cutting. The interns were very excited when members of the Talent Acquisition team took them for an office tour and explained the facilities that are available to them. After this, we had another round of meetings with the leadership team, and the respective hiring managers/mentors, over lunch. The interns were then taken to their workspaces and they absolutely loved their day-1 cubicle decoration and welcome goodies. All in all, it was a fantastic day and a great beginning for our Summer Interns – Batch of 2019.

Once again, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the interns. Also, a huge thanks to the TiVo India leadership team for spending quality time with our interns and introducing them to the TiVo culture- where we Innovate together, keep Customer Experience in mind, show Ownership and work together as a Team  . I would personally love to see more young and fresh talented folks joining us in the years to come.
