Welcoming Aaron Rosenson as Aleph’s Third Partner

We are thrilled to welcome Aaron Rosenson as our third equal partner

Aaron shares Aleph’s core values and hallmark qualities: a tireless work ethic on behalf of entrepreneurs; Zionism; business ethics; transparency and service to entrepreneurs and community. We are confident that he will help build Aleph into a world class brand and venture fund, by helping entrepreneurs build global companies out of Israel.

As we got to know Aaron, we became confident that he would rise to become one of the elite venture capital investors in the world. His data-driven approach gives him great versatility — he can understand businesses across a wide variety of technologies and industries. He has analyzed hundreds of successful technology companies and has helped them grow both organically and through M&A. He has an intuitive understanding of how to scale startups and recruit teams.

Aaron is wise and thoughtful beyond his years at age 26 and a tireless worker on behalf of entrepreneurs. We learned that Aaron is a trusted confidante of CEOs twice his age. When our Aleph entrepreneurs met Aaron, they loved what they saw — before we even offered him the equal partner role, some of them had reached out to him to meet again, to get feedback and advice. Moreover, we are excited to add more age diversity to Aleph (Michael is in his 40s, Eden is in his 30s and now we are joined by Aaron who is in his 20s), as we look to build a diverse, long term franchise that can service our entrepreneurs comprehensively and holistically.

Bringing on an equal partner is hard. There is no “try before you buy”, nor rising through the system.  It is equal from day one. It is like getting married for the next 20 years and sharing everything beginning immediately. We went through an arduous process, during which we met with about 150 candidates on 3 continents, invested enormous amounts of time building personal chemistry, and testing the value and likability of candidates with Israeli entrepreneurs. Through this process, we also learned a lot about ourselves, our values and our missing pieces. We learned that we wanted someone who could play on a global stage, had experienced scale, and had started building a global network and a personal brand with entrepreneurs. We are excited to have found someone who fits that role.

What does this mean for the immediate future? As Aaron ramps up at Aleph, he looks forward to hosting and participating in as many Karma discussions, meetups, conferences and office hours as time will allow. Above all, he wants to interface and spend time with you — the members of the local ecosystem and Israel’s great entrepreneurs. We hope you will find the time to talk to him about your business and pick his brain — we think you’ll find it to be a thoughtful conversation (and an enjoyable one too!).

Please join us in welcoming Aaron and his family to Israel and to the Aleph Family.
