I just got back from 3 night at Big Sur, in central California. It was amazing. If you haven’t been, it was like a mini Hawaii vacation minus the shaved ice and mochi donuts. Ok, I know that’s a lot, but trust me, throw in some time watching two otters swimming in the glistening turquoise ocean arm-in-arm (with John Legend signing in your head) and your life will be changed for the better. Thank you Hyatt, I loved the stay and your breakfast still reminds me of how far I still need to go to call myself a breakfast master chef. Shirley Chung I hear you laughing :)

This past weekend, my youngest, who is now 8 years old and going on 18, asked me in such seriousness, “mommy, are you famous?”

In his oversized transformer-ish glasses and completely “don’t mess with my Minecraft '' seriousness, he repeated the question again, thinking I didn’t hear him.

Side note: It wasn’t that I didn’t hear him, I didn’t really know how to answer him.?

I’ve built a solid brand in the financial business world, but when you talk about famous - you’re talking celebrities, CEOs of hot public companies, you’re talking…

So I say, “no, why do you ask?”

And he said, “I was just wondering, because isn’t a podcast for famous people?”

Ahhhh….?

Well, today, friends, I’m happy to announce that our amazing team and I are officially kicking off our first episode of the Yes Factor podcast in partner with LinkedIn Podcast Network!

It’s inspired by… my high school calculus teacher who used to invite alumni back to our Friday class to talk about their journeys: what companies they worked at, what surprised them, what they wish they knew, who they met along the way, and what’s ahead for us. The joys, the lessons, the disappointment and the laugh-so-hard-tears-come-out stories.?

Our podcast is a curated collection of must-listen, soak-in-all-the-goodness type of interviews with business powerhouses of diverse backgrounds, Fortune 500 leaders, celebrity entrepreneurs, medical geniuses, and more. Great humans sharing great stories. Through their own words they will generously share how they achieved their own success. As your humble host, it is my hope to collect the answers and keys to share with you to unlock your own full potential.?

So, Yes Factor. Yup, that’s the name of my new podcast, launching here, with my friends at LinkedIn. New episodes every Wednesday! And why did I name it this way? Well, because we have all had a “Yes factor” or two moment that turned into a new adventure, personal growth, career leap, a bigger promotion, a deeper audience connection, an ahhaa success, and maybe even greater wallet share. It’s you, it’s me, it’s we.?

This show is about getting to the really good stories on relatable entrepreneur growth and personal finance smarts.?

And, we need your help to listen and tune in. We’re launching with someone really special!
