Today, I’m beyond excited to open the doors to a brand new membership/mastermind group.
But it’s not mine.
It’s designed around the idea that it’s hard AF to make REAL friends as an entrepreneur, people who get the hustle, and aren’t questioning your goals or, conversely, trying to sell you on their next marketing program.
The pilot launch filled in less than a week, with a waitlist of people who want into the next round.
It’s been a baby idea for over a year, just waiting for the right time to be hatched into existence. It’s been whispering in my ear for a while now, begging to be brought to life.
But I am not its architect. I’m more like a doula. It’s not about me.
I can make suggestions. Leading commentary. “Wouldn’t it be nice if...”
But like an actual baby, birthing the best parts of your business can take time.
Finally, finally, she came to me.
And she said, “Briar, I’m ready, let’s build it.”
Now, here’s the part that’s really interesting.
It took me less than two weeks. ?????♀?
I created the framework, the container, the content plan. I wrote the copy outline. I took the things that were most important to her and built around them.
All she had to do was make it hers and send the emails.
I’m gonna manage things for a while, make sure we get off to a solid start. (She’s not even home today. She’s flying home from snowy Canada.) And then eventually, I’ll probably hire my replacement.
She calls me a force of nature, and you better believe I’m taking that compliment. She says, “Briar just somehow makes it inconceivable that you would do anything other than work the plan the two of you decided on.“
But I think it’s simpler than that. I’m not attached to your ideas. I have no problem telling you when something isn’t going to work (I promise to at least tell you why).
The plan is inevitably doomed to fail. But planning has saved my life. And now I’m using those skills in your business.
I have room for two more of these high-level transformations this year.
What amazing ideas have you been incubating? What can I help you bring to life?
