M3 ??Monday Morning Message – No. 740, September 23, 2024

Last night my daughter and son-in-law brought our first grandchild into the world! We are so excited to welcome our granddaughter into our family and very much looking forward to this next phase of life as grandparents! Our new little addition to the family is so incredibly precious and beautiful! Of course, I am a bit biased, but all babies are precious and beautiful because life is precious and beautiful. There is intrinsic value built into every single person as a being created by God.

When a new life appears on the stage of this world, it seems to put things into perspective. You tend to forget, at least for a few moments, about the worries of life, the stresses of the job, the difficulties you face, and your concerns and just relish in the freshness of the newness and beauty of an infinitely significant, priceless little child. A right perspective is something each of us must maintain to be successful in life. People are more important than things, relationships are more important than the task, integrity is more important than winning a temporary “victory.”

While this is a short, simple message for this week, the profoundness of the value of others cannot be understated and gaining a right perspective will start your week in the right direction. Spend some time this week seeing everyone around you as a precious person and treat them as such. Especially appreciate and communicate your love to those closest to you. You are sure to be blessed and will look back with a positive perspective and valuable accomplishment at the end of the week!

P.S. No name yet, but mom and baby are both doing great and that is good enough for us – at least for now….Let the spoiling begin! ??
