Join us for the Deloitte X I&E and Belfield Strategy Group (ISCG) Case Competition, where you can collaborate, innovate, and showcase your strategic problem-solving skills. This competition brings together students from diverse disciplines to tackle real-world business challenges presented by Deloitte, a global leader in professional services.
Speakers & Purpose: Industry professionals will be involved throughout the competition, providing team guidance and mentorship. Students will gain invaluable insights into consulting and business strategy while developing critical skills such as teamwork, analytical thinking, and presentation. This event is a fantastic opportunity to network with Deloitte professionals and explore potential career pathways.

I&E Start-a-Thon
Join us for an exciting entrepreneurial adventure at the I&E Start-A-Thon!
Have you ever dreamt of launching your own business?
Look no further than the I&E Start-A-Thon, an event that gives students 24 action-packed hours to craft and pitch their groundbreaking ideas to a panel of esteemed judges.
With fantastic prizes up for grabs, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss. This year's Start-A-Thon kicks off at 17:00 on Friday, October 18th, in the Crean Room of The Innovation Academy, located within the O'Brien Centre for Science.
The event will wrap up in the afternoon of the 19th, followed by a delightful social gathering at Farmer Browns.
Our event is proudly hosted by Raomal Perera, a seasoned Serial Entrepreneur who founded Isocor, a company that achieved a remarkable valuation of $450 million before being acquired. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at UCD Smurfit and INSEAD Paris.

BCG?Case Study Workshop & Networking

Learn more about consulting and BCG in our interactive case study workshop, where you will work alongside BCG consultants to solve a real-life business problem, much like those in our interview process and based on the work we do for our clients each day. You’ll have the chance to get to know more about where a career in consulting and BCG can take you, ask any questions you have about working for us or our application processes, and receive personalised advice and tips to make a stronger application.

Recurring I&E Events
MUN Competition Preparation Workshops

Model United Nations (MUN) workshops will take place weekly in October to prepare students for the UCD MUN conference. The workshops will cover various aspects of MUN ranging from the basic procedures to practising participation in mock conferences. It is strongly encouraged to attend the workshops to be considered for the Harvard and NYU conferences in semester 2. Workshops are open to all levels and no sign up is required.

Poker Series

The I&E?Poker Series?will be running again this Thursday?at 6pm.? Buy-in is €5.? Buy-in starts at 6pm, with €5 and €10 re-buys available until 8pm. Final Table usually occurs around 9pm when we are left with 9 players, concluding at 9:30pm with a cash prize. No previous experience is necessary.
