Additional Materials (optional) :?Arduino UNO and cable
How To Make??
Challenge Stage #1: Connect your battery to the buzzer or light bulb using the wires to create the desired pattern.?
Challenge Stage #2: Use the built-in LED in the Arduino UNO and modify the Blink code to automate this process.
Challenge Stage #3: Try to take user input in your preferred language and produce output as a Morse Code to take the challenge to the next level.
Don’t forget to challenge your friends to see who can decode messages the fastest. Happy code ?? messaging!

? Learn the artists’ way of everyday communication with Visual Note-taking
Have you ever struggled to remember your train of thought??
Taking notes helps you remember things better, keeps you focused and makes connecting the dots and coming up with new ideas way easier. So, while these notes are like your personal guide, they can seem as tedious & boring, especially if you have to do them everyday!?
If you agree, then visual note-taking might just be the solution for you! It’s a fun and creative way to take notes that helps you remember information better by combining words and images. Here’s how you can get started :
Materials Needed :
Start with a Title : Write the main topic or title of the lesson at the top of the page. Make it bold and colourful to stand out.
Example: If you’re learning about Alexander Graham Bell, write “Alexander Graham Bell: Inventor of the Telephone” in big, bold letters.?
Use Symbols and Icons : Draw symbols or icons to represent key points. These can be simple and quick sketches.
Example: For Alexander Graham Bell, you could draw a telephone to represent his invention, sound waves for his interest in acoustics, and a speech bubble for his work with the deaf.
Create Mind Maps, Diagrams & Charts : Use a mind map to organize information. Start with the main idea in the center and branch out with related ideas. And draw diagrams and charts to explain processes and relationships
Example: For Alexander Graham Bell, put his name in the center and draw branches for “Inventions,” “Education,” “Family,” and “Legacy” and create a timeline of his life events and achievements, like the invention of the telephone and his work with the deaf.

Finally, be creative & personalize it the way that would help you remember the best, like using different colours to highlight important information, etc.! So, the next time your teachers or colleagues tell you to take notes, give visual note-taking a try!

? With the universalisation of English, Are Native Languages Getting Forgotten? ??
Let’s look at a few case studies :?
With globalisation, the 21st century has seen English dominate as the primary language for communication, both in the workplace and society. Fluency in English remains highly desirable, especially professionally. Does this mean native languages are getting overshadowed?
While countries implement language mandates to preserve socio-cultural knowledge, adoption remains challenging. On the flipside, you’ll find various studies on how an interest in multilingual marketing is catching up and how some native languages have seen renewed global interest due to popular media influence:
Korean :
Korean dramas and K-Pop have sparked global interest in learning Korean. The unique storytelling, cultural nuances, and emotional depth of K-Dramas, along with K-Pop's extensive fan following, captivate audiences. This surge in learners highlights the media's power in promoting language and culture, extending interest to Korean cuisine, fashion, and history.
Spanish :
Spanish music, with its vibrant rhythms and passionate lyrics, enchants listeners worldwide. The success of artists like Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, and Rosalía showcased Spanish's beauty and versatility. The allure of dances like salsa and flamenco, combined with romantic and sensual lyrics, made learning Spanish enticing. The music entertains and offers a gateway to Hispanic cultures and traditions.
Japanese :
Japanese anime & manga have a massive international following. These storytelling formats compel people to learn Japanese. The rich cultural context like inclusion of the history of the Samurai and themes such as Ikigai (a reason for being) and Zen living add depth, driving demand for learning the language. While the visual nature of anime & manga helps learners associate words through images & events, aiding language acquisition.
The Takeaway :
If you aim to influence the desirability of a particular language for non-native speakers, start by understanding the knowledge base it encompasses. Categorize this knowledge base into human needs such as health, wealth, beauty, entertainment, etc. Then, analyse these categories:
Look at the intersection of these factors to identify the knowledge category you want to promote. Create a campaign around it. Not everyone who engages with this knowledge will learn the language, but by understanding what people love and value and focusing on a small, dedicated audience, you can uncover desirability!?
