Microsoft Copilot: First Impressions and Core Features

In the few weeks since we've started to integrate Microsoft Copilot into our daily operations at Aztech. Whilst I think we’ve only reach just started to scratch the surface, the impact so far has been nothing pretty transformative.

For those who might be hearing about it for the first time, Microsoft Copilot is not just another productivity tool; it's a leap towards an AI-powered future, designed to work alongside you, enhancing your efficiency and creativity.

Core Features at a Glance:

• AI-Powered Assistance: Imagine having a co-pilot who understands your commands, drafts emails, creates presentations, and even suggests improvements to your documents—all in real-time.
• Seamless Integration: Copilot integrates flawlessly with the Microsoft suite, meaning it's already in your workflow, ready to turbocharge your productivity without the need for a learning curve.
• Contextual Understanding: What sets Copilot apart is its ability to understand the context of your work, making its suggestions and contributions incredibly relevant and time-saving.

Personal Insights:

From drafting complex reports, reviewing lengthy commercial contracts to simply managing emails, Copilot has introduced a level of efficiency that I didn't know was missing!

It's like having an extra pair of hands, ones that are tirelessly working to ensure you're at your most productive. Microsoft Teams have become the backbone of our daily communications, a new cyber threat looms large. At Aztech we’ve observed a concerning trend: Microsoft Teams is increasingly becoming a target for sophisticated phishing attacks. This section of the newsletter is dedicated to unpacking this trend, understanding its implications, and arming you with the knowledge to protect your organisation and employees.

The Emerging Threat:

Phishing attacks, once confined to email, have now proliferated across various digital platforms, with Microsoft Teams being the latest battlefield. Cyber criminals are exploiting the platform's widespread use by embedding malicious links and files within seemingly innocuous messages and channels. These attacks are designed to bypass traditional security measures and preying on the trust within teams and organisations.

I'm always looking to maximise productivity, so discovering tools that streamline communication and enhance collaboration is always a positive for me. This week I want to shine the spotlight on a great new tool from Microsoft for digital collaboration: Microsoft Loop.

So far I've found Microsoft Loop to be an invaluable addition to our productivity toolkit.

Early signs for me could be that I dump OneNote and switch to using Loop, but we'll see....
