Generative AI isn’t marketing’s future; it’s already part of its present!
Companies say that technical, arduous work completed by AI is 90% accurate compared to human analysis. Skeptics might question the reliability of these figures and the quality of AI-generated insights, especially in nuanced or complex scenarios where human judgment and emotional intelligence are crucial. A great read to understand how a "market" has shifted!
Top AI in Hiring Statistics in 2024! Some great statistics, a surprising one for us was global AI usage: Since the pre-COVID period, 88% of companies globally have been utilizing AI technology in HR, including recuitment.?

From Johnny Hiles: I've been a part of the TTC since its inception and is such a valuable community for all TA/Recruitment folk. I not only have access to great discount on recruitment platforms (who doesn't love saving a bit of cash when it comes to a new ATS/sourcing tool) but I've networked with pears, gained support from industry leaders and developed my own CPD through mentoring. If your job involves people experience, then I cannot recommend the Talent Community enough ??
From Jen Marguet: I joined TTC pretty much when it landed on slack - a long time ago! At the time, the community was bedding in but it was immediately valuable for a curious mind. I remember scrolling through the channels and just reading through peoples questions and answers to try and sponge up as much knowledge as possible! I've been back and forth on the platform over the year but most recently used it to support my job search after mat leave following vol redundancy. I found the community not only valuable for job postings / applications but also keeping up to date with changes and new trends in the TA space. It helped me eloquently answer challenging questions at interview from the knowledge gained on the platform. My most notable experience with TTC is seeing Steve Jacobs put the post up about a role at BT and me reaching out but thinking I had no chance as the market was candidate dominant and with great talent, but after a few interviews I secured my new role - not via the traditional job board which is refreshing and really speaks to this 'community'. I always recommend the platform to colleagues and friends within the world of Talent!
From Tony Payne: Since Day One, the Talent Community has focused on uniting professionals, extending beyond Talent professionals alone. Initially, I had doubts about mixing in-house recruiters, Agencies, and Suppliers under one roof, but I was wrong; it's fantastic. This setup truly underscores that we are all integral parts of the same industry, fostering collaboration and mutual learning.
What I love about the Talent Community is the authentic helpfulness of so many people. Whether I have a pressing question, want to swap ideas or just to get a sense check on a Talent or People issue there is always someone to help out. Sometimes it's nice to hear that others share the same problems. This spirit also motivates me to answer others' queries, and I believe this reciprocity forms the core of what makes the Talent Community work so well. The Admins are amazing, super helpful and available, which sets the tone for the whole group. It’s a tone of positivity, inclusivity and helpfulness.
In essence, the Talent Community is a vital professional tool in my tech stack, alongside my ATS and LinkedIn, that I utilise daily. From a personal perspective, I’m grateful to be part of such an inspiring community which is a safe place to share, seek help and even make some friends!
