As the number of physician entrepreneurs grows, we need to do a better job of creating platforms to help them find gigs or jobs in the sicktech industry i.e. drugs, devices, diagnostics, digital health, digital therapeutics, care delivery, mededtech, finsicktech and other industries that are trying to achieve the quintuple aim.

The problems are:

  1. Poor understanding and communication of expectations between potential advisors and company founders
  2. Not clearly stating the problem that needs to be solved
  3. Not mutually agreeing to the terms and conditions of a potentential engagement

Great article! I've always believed that clinicians are the best sources of innovation as they see first-hand the problems that need to be solved, but they don't necessarily have the skills or the expertise to develop their product and get it to market. This looks like a great curriculum...
