We have recently been asked about the upcoming 2023 Treehouse Series and what we can all expect and why this is different to the plethora of other chat-fests out there.

Well, first of all it is not for everyone - and by that we mean literally it is not for everyone....

The nasty door b*tches (hah) have a list ...

1. You have to be a legitimate part of the Jungal community, not a rubber necker as they say, and you'll see why underneath. If you are from a Jungal company or a gigstar freelancer you can attend and we'll welcome you in to the (dysfunctional) family and expand the brain.

If not, there are loads of other cool chat fests around as well.

1. You need to be open to honest and direct conversations and topics - this is a strict cancel free zone for smart adults who can take high level content

Think of this series as a sharp, intelligent and held in a 'private room' at the back of a cheesy hotel. You can be ushered in, grab a cocktail and hear about real issues and be encouraged to think and not just regurgitate someone else's ideas...

So let us address Part 1 ....

'Why are you creating an 'exclusive treehouse club' in a world demanding inclusivity?'

....... it seems contrary to say the least.

We're now at a size that means we need to be a respectful of our community and 100% supportive to the freelancers and the companies we work with. We want to add direct value to this group and focus on building exclusive and great relationships that develop over time. We want these to be based on mutual value, genuine professional connection and real care with integrity. So it is not so much about excluding people, as much as it is focussing on our community only.

Now the juicy reponse ......

We have been watching for the last 18 months as the business forums have slowly devolved into an opaque mess of political eggshells, vitriol and weird self proclamations or trolling opinions.

We have also wondered if Tourette's has become an epidemic on this platform.

The dialogue in the business world needs a small shake up and thoughtful discussion offered in the areas of people leadership, client service, workplace behaviours and basic commercial principles. Call us rebellious, but great dialogue can change the world.

We're up for the challenge and have decided to use the forgiving safety of our Jungal community to say some stuff that really needs to be said.

For us, we're primarily serving our business community by facilitating some very direct, safe and open discussions which simply need confidentiality to be successful. Sadly, in 2023 we can't do that if the general population comes wandering in - so hence an active Jungal community membership is required.

You can book via Eventbrite and we'll vet you closer to the time - so make sure you're playing by the rules. All the events will be online and so you can be safe and speak openly either thru chat or pre-work.

The topics are sort of weird too - some look very 'business skills' based but don't fret, it will look at all the business context and people behaviour. Like the upcoming persona will look at what a real client will do in 2023 and not just the cute happy personas. We will also savage a few government personal experiences as a clear case of 'what not to do' if you actually care for people in your service offering.

We hope you enjoy the 2023 sessions and you have a place to grow, just be yourself, learn and stop being anything other than brilliantly authentic and collaborative.
