Welcome to Small Business Marketing Essentials!
We're excited to introduce our latest project – the Small Business Marketing Essentials blog (or SBME for short)!
At Karbon Creative, we understand the unique challenges small businesses face when it comes to marketing. Over the past decade, we’ve seen that when marketing departments underperform, it’s rarely about a lack of talent or resources. More often, it’s because teams are balancing so many responsibilities that consistency and the fundamentals can sometimes slip through the cracks. That’s why we’re here – to help you streamline your efforts and get back to basics, without the overwhelm.
We’ve created SBME as a place where you can find straight-talking, no-nonsense advice to help you grow your business. We’ll be sharing practical tips, insights, and resources to help you build a strong marketing foundation.
And if you think your business is too big for the SBME blog, remember that SMEs are defined as businesses with up to 250 employees – so whether you’re a small start-up or a more established company, we’re confident you’ll find valuable insights here. Plus, it never hurts to get a refresher on good practices.
We’re here to make marketing simpler and more enjoyable. So, stick around, and look forward to regular insights, resources and helpful information.

Fractional CMO bringing professional marketing to SMEs
2 个月KISS is important, but the "long-term" commitment to marketing is, I believe, even more so. SME's are often driven by an individual and their own singular vision, and that delivery is often interrupted by a customer event that needs a quick decision of the moment. And that decision produces a tangible result. Too often marketing solutions are intangible and will produce results "down the line". KISS makes that simpler and the owner can "touch and feel" but sometimes you must just believe in the marketing vision and commit to that. I look forward to reading more in the SBME forum!
SBME sounds like a great resource. The key to marketing success is keeping it simple and effective. I'm looking forward to the tips and insights; thanks for sharing!
