In this week's newsletter, you'll learn how to outsmart your mind and seize new opportunities with networking.

Outsmart Your Mind, Seize New Opportunities

Gorgeous,

?If you ever spend time listing the pros and cons of going to a networking event, your mind plays the drama queen, and you may have missed an opportunity.

Call it awkward, being alone or lacking presentation skills; you don't see yourself doing it.

The result: You won't attend it.

There's nothing wrong with that; if you have a valid reason not to go, that's fine; you can change your mind.

But when getting ready and changing your mind at the last minute becomes a habit, it's time to recognise this truth.

You let your mind take the lead, and it's time to get back behind the wheel.

Why? Because opportunities are available to you when you're open to them.

Being open means putting yourself out there.

Putting yourself out there is MEETING like-minded people.

Meeting new people is the way for OPPORTUNITIES to COME to you.

But if you don't, you'll let your mind lead you to stay in your comfort zone.

Because your mind is wired to protect you from any emotional risk and will use any ammunition to convince you to stay where you are

Balance the pros and the cons.

List all the sensible reasons for staying home.

Playing in your mind your insecurities

Until you'll convince yourself that it's better to stay at home

The key to getting back behind the wheel?

Put yourself out there.

Meet like-minded people, and opportunities will come to you.

As Tina Turner said: “I believe that if you'll just STAND UP and go, life will OPEN UP for you.”

If you're ready to break the dictatorship of your intellect and advance your career, I invite you to book a session with me.

With love,?

The Confidence Gap Is Real—But So Is Your Potential

Gorgeous,

I'm excited to share with you the ARM Breakthrough Sessions: the Leader, the Queen and the Rockstar.

I created these sessions because the key to any change is to experience a breakthrough.

It could be a mindset shift, a rise in your self-awareness, or a new perspective helping you better understand your current situation.

As a result, it provides more clarity, which is essential for taking the next right steps and empowers you to make decisions aligned with your intentions and goals.

Wanting to be visible and recognised for your work triggers four challenges: mindset, confidence, energy and visibility struggles.

Why? Because no one has taught us to be visible, promote ourselves, speak confidently, and ask for recognition.

According to Lean In and McKinsey’s recent Women in the Workplace report, at every stage of the pipeline, women are as committed to their careers and as interested in being promoted as men.

Women at the director level—when the C-suite is in closer view—are also equally interested in senior leadership roles. However, we are living in a world designed for men, not for women.

81% of women feel more pressure to fail than men due to the weight of societal and cultural conditioning. They face challenges in self-promotion for career advancement due to a lack of support, coaching and empowerment.

Additionally, our culture and society reward women for being perpetually pleasant, self-sacrificing, and emotionally in control. This creates an internal struggle between their personal desires and societal expectations leading to overthinking, and self-doubt hindering their decision-making process.

By doing so, they internalise their struggles, reinforcing their self-criticism and judgement. The confidence gap is real: women are less confident during interviews than men (54% versus 58%) and face-to-face presentations (56% versus 67%) and feel less confident talking about their achievements than men (59% versus 62%).

As a result, they don’t speak about their achievements leading to self-silence, an attitude detrimental to their health.

According to the psychologist and writer Dr Maytal Eyal, they are at a higher risk of suffering from chronic pain, insomnia, fibromyalgia, long COVID, irritable bowel syndrome, and migraines, and are twice as likely as men to die after a heart attack.

For these reasons and the challenges I witnessed with my clients, I created 3 bespoke sessions to help women leaders overcome these challenges (mindset, confidence, energy and visibility).

If you struggle with any of these challenges, I invite you to read the ARM Breakthrough Sessions guide.

Warm Regards,

Ga?lle
