A Welcome Sequence Example

Writing your own welcome sequence can be hard to see. Especially if you don't have any good examples to look at. So, I whipped up a fully fictional company (all of my spec work will be featuring this tribute to my beloved best friend who passed away earlier this year.) that can showcase some examples of what you're welcome sequence could look like.
After a day or two after the first email is sent, you'll want to send out another one that really introduces your company and mission to your new friend.
You'll want to give another day or two between this email and the next step in the process. This gives your customers time to open and digest the material before, but not so long that they forget about you.
As you can see, this 3rd email is where you would finally recommend some products to your new lead. We do that in a way that makes them feel welcome first, then seen. It's like walking onto a car lot and a salesman starts trying to sell them a new Audi without even saying hello first. Yuck.
While a coupon can be a great way to get people to sign up for your email list, having one in your welcome sequence can be a perfect way to increase sales.
Keep in mind you can keep these emails on an automation that sends them a few days apart. Or only after they open the one previous in the sequence.
I hope this helps to inspire you to start implementing your own Welcome Sequence. The trick is to start with high-quality copy, then add in your branding design.
