A diamond celebration and ISO strength

We were proud to announce a great milestone in our #sustainability journey through Toitu Enviromark Diamond Certification.

Toitú is a New Zealand-based organisation of scientists, environmentalists and business leaders who work to embed best practice environmental management in business and then accredit when mastered. In their hierarchy of accreditations, diamond is the highest level and denotes companies that have a self-sustaining environmental management system.

Furthermore, we achieved ISO14001 (Environmental), ISO9001 (Quality Assurance) and ISO45001 (OHS). These international standards certify our quality, safety and environmental commitments and the management structure to ensure customers can always rely on and expect the best from Portacom. Our next step in ensuring we meet international standards is to gain EcoVadis accreditation.

Helping Emirates Team NZ fly since 1993

It's now under one year to go until Emirates Team NZ defend the world's oldest sporting trophy, the America's Cup.

For 30 years, Portacom has supported New Zealand's national sailing team and we are proud to do it again for their 2024 Barcelona campaign. Now we want to share the excitement and comradery with our customers and are offering a select few some of the once in a lifetime experiences including getting on the chase boat to watch the team train. Wig Wednesday to support Child Cancer Foundation

Our Portacom and Interlink teams came together in September to show their support for tamariki facing cancer. Wig Wednesday is a fun day in September where schools, workplaces and community groups can show their support. Every dollar raised goes directly towards supporting Kiwi kids with cancer and their families through the toughest time in their lives.

2022 Global ESGS Report launched

Earlier this year we announced the release of the third annual Modulaire Group Environment, Social, Governance and Sustainability (ESGS) Report.

Performance highlights:

• 26% reduction in scope 1 & 2 emissions compared to 2020 baseline.*
• 54% energy supply from a #renewable source.
• Supply Chain Survey & TCFD Climate Scenarios Completed.
• 460 hours of anti-bribery & corruption training.+
• 362 hours of cybersecurity training.+
• 4616 hours of #volunteering .+
• Celebrated International Women's Day 2022, World Day for Safety and Health At Work and World Mental Health Day.

Moiving forward, our comprehensive sustainability plan has three main goals:

• To reduce our carbon emissions by 2.5% p.a. (base year 2020) with the goal of zero emissions by 2050
• Reduce our waste to landfill by 30% p.a. per unit (base year 2020)
• Reduce our water consumption by 3% p.a. per unit (base year 2020)
