What's NEW News @PGL
It’s as busy as ever here at PGL, and we’re all looking forward to our Christmas bash and some well-deserved drinks??! We’re excited to welcome Sophie to the team — she’s already asking for more work (we’re happy to oblige, lol). With Sophie on board, we’ve almost completed the puzzle ??, but we’re still looking for a Training Coordinator. If you’re ready for a challenge, have experience in coordinating commercial training, and want to work with an award-winning team, reach out to us!
Sophie had this to say about her first week and a half:
“I have never been made to feel so welcome and part of team like PGL have made me feel. From the support, trust & relationships built in the first week I have never experienced this in my working history of over 30 years. I would recommend PGL as an employer & look forward to a long happy working future here”.
?? Now, we must declare we have not bribed Sophie or promised her extra prezzies in her Xmas stocking, we promise.
As you all know, we don’t just deliver exceptional training or assess NVQ competencies—we’ve also got some of the best internal experts in the business. Last week, a very large construction company approached us to revamp how they track and record training. Of course, we said yes! If you’d like help streamlining your training records or planning for next year, give our team a shout—we’ll take the hassle out of it for you.
This week, we’ve had seven different networking meetings aimed at streamlining services and enhancing partnerships with some of the best in the region. We’ll share more about these exciting opportunities soon, including media development, partnerships with other providers, and academies—it’s been great to chat about all things training! Last week was a busy one for our sales team, Laura Wagstaff and Lauryn McCall . They were out visiting clients and attending a couple of expos. If you see them at #HighwaysUK, they love a good natter, not just all about training!
Have you visited our HQ in Boldmere recently? Our new office space downstairs is open, though it’s a bit bare at the moment (furniture still incoming).
We’ve also started rolling out a dedicated NVQ support programme for a client with several of their staff operating on "grandfather rights." After a clear briefing with Daz to simplify NVQ processes with the client, we’ve registered the first two team members, with more to follow in the coming weeks. Congrats to those who are now working towards lifetime qualifications and further professional prosperity.
Huge thanks to our tutors during this super busy period! We collaborate daily with providers and trainers, and it’s all about trust, clear communication, and top-quality training. Thanks to everyone! We can’t be getting it wrong with the success and satisfaction we hear about this day in day out!
Next week’s Pet of the Week is Pip (aka Batgirl)—keep your eyes peeled for this adorable moggy! ??
