Welcome to Part 4 of Gordons Bonkers Blog from ISE 2025.

Welcome to Part 4 of Gordons Bonkers Blog from ISE 2025. Over the final 2 days of ISE, I will review my time at the show, whom I met with, what I saw and my top takeaways, I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do…

Today is Thurs 6th?Feb, and I wake up slightly later, which I had planned… I now know that I cannot get up at 8 am the night after a Peerless Party, so let that be a tip for anyone who attends it LOL!????I have a nice breakfast and head off to the show for my first meeting, which is to take a picture with a new Distributor that PlexusAV will be announcing. After taking the pic, I had over to meet up with the D-Tools Inc. crew. I love these Guys, and I have organised a meeting between Jeff Oakes, CTS Barrie McCorkle ?and? Tobias Lang from LANG AG ?to discuss the platform. That is one of the major benefits of working with Re-sauce ; you get introduced to some amazing people, and Tobias is one of those.

The LANG booth looks amazing, with a fabulous LED waterfall, a motorised LED wall and even a robotic dog. Tobias always has his finger on the pulse, so after a great meeting, I head back to the booth to catch up with John Richards John and I have known each other a while now, as I previously introduced a number of brands into AVI-SPL . John is one of those super-technical guys, but also really affable, so we spend some time chatting about?IPMX?and?PlexusAV.

Before I know it, it is time to head off for the?XUSC?mixer, organised by the fantastic Bryan Meszaros from OpenEye Global The XUSC Mixer is always a great event, so I head back to my hotel to drop my laptop off, grab 40 winks, and then take some painkillers for my back before I fall asleep and realise that I missed the bloody mixer!!! I send Bryan an apology, and he responds as ever, only to find out they have a live band on as well… I am TOTALLY GUTTED, but I have a Press Dinner at 8 pm, which I have organised, and so I head out to host the dinner at Kurai, a fantastic Japanese Fusion restaurant I have found…

?

Future Publishing?is a major global publishing house that started in the UK and grew from there. Nowadays, it owns hundreds of amazing titles, including?SCN, SVC, Installation Magazine, and TVBE,?and it writes the?ISE Daily.?So, I have organised a dinner with some of its team: Rob Lane , David W Smith , and Mark J. Pescatore from Future, @Hayley Brailey-Woolfson , who handles the advertising, and Steven Cogels and Arthur Brockhoff from PlexusAV .?I have actually known Rob for over 30 years, so half my life… Isn’t that amazing…

We have a fantastic night and stay up way too late, so tomorrow will be a push, as I have to check out and still do the show and fly home… God, how I wish I had booked an extra night now ? Nearly 17,000 steps today, and so just under 12.5km, and that’s well over 7.5 miles again… My feet are killing me!!!

?

If you would like to know more about what I did on the last day of ISE and my key takeaways were… Then make sure you check in tomorrow for?Gordons Bonkers Blog - ISE 2025 – The Final Sum Up!!…?
