Holy whatsits we’ve careered to the end of another month and are well and truly deep in the final quarter for this year ??.
How is 2024 panning out for you and your practice? Is it going to plan?
Sometimes it doesn’t - I just had to take a few days off because I was feeling frazzled, with another house move ??, a big photo shoot, the October Thrivers Launch, our Smart Marketing workshops finally rolling out, and a last-minute Enough is Enough webinar for frustrated and fed-up practice owners.
In all that I didn’t get another blog written which is why there is no blog to share this month - but do you know what, that's OK. I’m at peace with that and am not beating myself up for it. We’ll be sharing the one we had planned in the next week or so so the prep work isn’t wasted.
So, as the year ticks around you haven’t quite achieved all the things you had hoped for just chill. Go easy on yourself.
?We can’t do it all at once, your time will come.
?BUT at the same time pick yourself up dust yourself off and let’s go again.
?CREATING?MOMENTUM
This month we wanted to highlight the away from clinic life of our long time clients, members, and now good friends, Gill and Tom Fox from the Nantwich Clinic.
?We wanted to say a huge congratulations on completing the UK’s 3 Peaks challenge! In rain, sleet, hail, snow, and sunshine they conquered the 3 tallest mountains in the UK.
Raising funds for?The Genie’s Wish?a charity dedicated to bringing joy and support to young people with terminal illnesses.
If you follow their Nantwich Clinic social media page, you’ll see charity is always one of their top priorities. They run coffee mornings and last year the whole team completed a fire walk!
High five to Gill, Tom, and the team ????

World Mental Health Day is celebrated annually on October 10th. It was established by the World Federation for Mental Health to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote efforts to improve mental well-being around the globe.
Each year, the day provides an opportunity to open up conversations about mental health, reduce the stigma around it, and encourage people to seek support when needed. The theme for World Mental Health Day often focuses on a specific aspect of mental health, such as prevention, support, or care.
?I'm glad that these days mental health is discussed more openly and not frowned upon. People don't realise that it's just as important as physical health.
?
Here are some tips for Taking Care of Your Mental Health:
Stay Active Regular physical activity helps boost your mood and reduce stress.
Practice Mindfulness Spend time in the present moment, engaging in activities like meditation or deep breathing. -This one helped me a lot!
Talk to Someone Reach out to a friend, family member, or mental health professional when you're feeling overwhelmed.
Get Enough Sleep Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep to recharge your body and mind.
?
Eat a Balanced Diet Proper nutrition can have a positive effect on how you feel.
Set Boundaries Learn to say no to activities that drain your energy and prioritize self-care.
Engage in Hobbies Do something you enjoy to relax and boost your mental health. - I draw and listen to music!
For me I find it very relaxing to collect toys from my childhood or play video games. It's a good way to de-stress. Experiencing this relaxes me, practicing self-love and reliving amazing adventures from my childhood. It's a form of therapy for me. For many people, toys symbolize childhood memories, joy, and a sense of comfort. By revisiting these aspects through collecting, people reconnect with the feelings of innocence, creativity, and happiness they experienced as a child.?
?I hope that for anyone reading this, if they're stressed or feeling overwhelmed, they take this as a sign to take some time off to take care of themself.?
“Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up.”
