Making The Case For Change

Deteriorating Mental Health Among Jewish, Muslim And Arab Industry Workers

Last week we published a report examining the results of our survey of Arab, Muslim, and Jewish workers affected by the Hamas attacks on Israel on October 7th, 2023, the subsequent conflict in Gaza, and the unfolding humanitarian crisis that has followed. Using the data, we are now working with our key partners to explore a pan-industry response to the issues raised, including working with ScreenSkills to explore new, industry-wide and industry-funded training. From Around Our Community

Looking For Peer To Peer Support?

Our?Mind-Craft Report showed that loneliness was the single biggest factor influencing the mental health of film and TV workers. That's why creating a community and reaching out to other like-minded people in the industry is so important. We've created this?helpful breakdown of groups and organisations, from Beam Network, Tellymums, Trans+ On Screen, to Deaf and Disabled People In TV. We know there are many more organisations out there, so please email [email protected] and let us know who else we should include!
