Connecting Top Talent across EMEA | Talent Acquisition Partner with a passion for people, organizational development and contributing to society
The Terumo Europe Young Talent Internship Program has welcomed 11 highly engaged students as of February 13. We are looking forward to collaborating with Olivia W. , Lara Cherlet , Melanie Verhamme , Victoria John , Laura Else Gundermann , Emily Vyncke , Daan Dolfing , Noa Vannuffelen , Gilles Hannaert , Diana Arredondo and Joanna. Through this new group of interns, we have had the privilege to welcome this academic year already 17 motivated students, coming from 7 universities and colleges in already 4 countries. Each student will work on a dedicated project or internship of approximately 4 months within a specific business domain. These domains range from internal communication, employer branding and marketing to business analytics, accounting, product management and much more. Everyone will be guided by an experienced coach and supported by a wonderful team, providing a challenging, but excellent environment to pursue development.
We value the relationship with these students and have built strong partnerships with several Universities over the last years.??A nice example is that at the beginning of this academic year our L&D and Talent Acquisition teams had been invited by the University Colleges Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) to facilitate an Insight Discovery workshop and presenting guest lectures regarding Personal Branding, LinkedIn best practices and Career Happiness.?Great to share that as a result, we can welcome 9 students from their UCLL Advanced business management Banaba .?

In our pursuit of challenge and innovation, we go beyond a classical approach internship. We establish an international community of students promoting collaboration, networking and a sense of belonging. This allows students to get a complete image of a business and to connect with each other to enjoy their time at Terumo together. We organise sessions for our interns to develop professional and interpersonal skills, and to gain career advice from experienced senior leadership members. They will be able to showcase how their internship or project contributes to the overall success of Terumo Europe.?Furthermore, through their feedback, interests and aspirations, our coaches are inspired to develop themselves, learning from this new generation of soon to be young professionals.?
