Our Responsible AI Policy Is Out.?
The world of social good is changing rapidly. AI is here, and it can potentially revolutionize how we work. But with great power comes great responsibility. At OpenFn, we believe in using AI ethically and responsibly. Our carefully crafted Responsible AI policy, now available on our website, reflects how we prioritize human accountability, transparency, and a healthy dose of skepticism in our approach.

New Adaptors Have Been Built And Released.
First, it's important to note that OpenFn can connect to any system via HTTP, but our community has also built dozens of "adaptors" to save time and money while connecting to most commonly used digital public goods and key ICT4D systems.
This month our core team has been hard at work in the background developing new adaptors for our customers and community and we also released a comprehensive guide to help you create new adaptors!

We use Canny to collect, manage, and prioritize feature requests from our users and core team. Canny allows you to comment on and upvote existing feature requests or suggest new ones. Our team traveled to Lisbon and Kigali this month, fostering connections and sharing our expertise. At the Impact First Digital Development Summit, we showcased how Digital Public Goods (DPGs) like OpenFn empower sustainable digital transformation. We also participated in the Africa Health Summit, focusing on the importance of data-driven decision-making in healthcare. Elias W. BA , one of our experienced software engineers, delivered training on Generative AI and also demonstrated the OpenFn platform as part of a capacity-building initiative!??
Where will you see us next?
The OpenFn x Paystack Meet and Greet in Nairobi is happening on 13th November. Our Product Manager, Ayodele Adeyemo , will be there to meet and network with software developers, IT managers/administrators, and program/project managers working in government agencies and humanitarian organizations.?

Other members of the team will also be traveling to the OpenHIE Community Meeting, which will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, next month, and both Aleksa Krolls and Taylor Downs will be joining up at the DPGA Annual Members Meeting, which brings together all Digital Public Goods Alliance members to strengthen our collective ability to discover, develop, use, and invest in digital public goods.
