Releasing the new Three-axis Hall Magnetometer THM1176-plus

We are excited to announce the release of the THM1176-plus. This new model retains the same sensors and form factor as the THM1176 and is compatible with the current version of EZMag3D.

The new electronics offer a faster data acquisition rate of up to 8 kHz in continuous mode, compared to the previous 1 kHz. For the THM1176-MF, the accuracy is 0.5% up to 1.5T. The casing maintains the same format and includes a clip to prevent losing it.

Advancing Magnetic Measurements: Integrating NMR Measurements with Simulation Software for Predictive Analysis

by?Julien Songeon of Metrolab Technology SA during #MMA24

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) is an essential technique for investigating the magnetic properties of materials at the atomic scale. In this presentation, we present a comprehensive methodology of the application of advanced NMR measurement techniques for magnetometry with a custom-developed simulation software. By simulating potential measurement outcomes prior to experimental measurements, this tool provides a predictive capability that facilitates more informed decision-making and enhances the planning of experimental procedures. The presentation will encompass the precise methodologies employed in NMR magnetometry, the development and features of the simulation software, and illustrative case studies that highlight its practical application. This integrated approach not only deepens the understanding of the magnetometry instruments we develop but also equips users with the ability to predict measurement outcomes, thereby promoting more efficient and accurate scientific investigations.

Spotlight on PM-1055 from reference magnet with NMR capabilities to the heart of NMR spectrometers

The PM1055 permanent magnet from Metrolab is a compact and versatile tool widely used in portable Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectrometers. This review explores its technical specifications, applications, and performance in various settings. The PM1055's high field homogeneity, stability, and ease of use make it an essential component for NMR testing and calibration. Its ability to generate a stable magnetic field without the need for a power supply, along with its compact size, enhances its portability and practicality for both laboratory and field applications.

The PM-1055 deserves this new brochure!

Last minute to book Magnetic Materials and Application 24 at CERN!

After a successful event in Hanau last year, we're elevating the experience at the prestigious CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, from?22 – 24 October 2024.

MMA24 will offer two days of technical presentations covering various magnetic subjects, from innovative material design to the forefront of machine applications. The presentations will also explore the latest superconducting technologies and magnet recycling advancements. As co-chair of the event, Antoine from Metrolab will be instrumental in steering these discussions.

MMA24 is more than a learning platform; it's a nexus for connection. During event breaks, there will be extensive networking opportunities, a reception at the CERN Gateway, and a great dinner at the Clos du Chateau vineyard.

The event also offers an exclusive opportunity to visit CERN and the magnetics laboratories. This is a unique chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the world's leading research facilities. Register early to secure your spot at this limited-capacity event.

Don't miss this unparalleled convergence of minds and magnets.?Book now to secure your spot. We look forward to welcoming you to the gateway of scientific discovery!

THM1176-MF batch calibration weeks!

To ensure your measurements are always accurate, it's important to keep your THM1176-MF calibrated. We recommend scheduling your calibration every 18 months during batch calibration weeks to make it easy and cost-effective.

During our batch calibration weeks, which occur during weeks 10, 24, 37, and 48 of every year, we can calibrate your instruments at a discounted cost. To ensure a seamless experience, please send your probes to our Metrolab facility in Switzerland at least one week before your scheduled calibration. This way, we can quickly calibrate and return your instruments to you.
