Welcome to the May Edition of The Elevator
Elevate Communication
We help businesses grow their brand, elevate their profile and protect their reputation through strategic communication
May has been a month packed with highlights for the Elevate team, so we’ve had to pick our top three for May's newsletter! Here's what you'll find in this issue:
With the EOFY in sight, we know that businesses are already planning ahead for the next financial year. But how is your budget looking for this year? More often than not, budgets become a 'use it or lose it' commodity, so now's the time to look at optimising your remaining marketing and communication budgets! Whether it's $1,000 or $10,000, there's usually always a way to invest back into your business and your people.
Our senior team at Elevate can help you get off on the right foot in FY 24/25 with training and execution programs. Whether it be building the foundations of an upcoming event, upskilling your team in digital marketing best practices, or setting your marketing communication strategy for the year ahead, I welcome the opportunity to discuss the ways we can help you invest in your business and your team this EOFY.
P&Cs 2024 State Conference
Recently, our Events team, Gina Shaw, CEM , Andi Fisher , and Darly Ngwe , were on site at the Gold Coast managing the P&Cs QLD State Conference 2024 – Everything in PLACE with over 400 delegates from Queensland.
Spread out over two days, delegates enjoyed engaging with keynote speakers, workshops, and discussions focused on the latest trends and real-world case studies. This conference was designed to provide delegates with the information, tools, and resources to ensure strong, successful, and sustainable P&Cs that support state schools to give every child a chance in education and in life. We are delighted to have been part of this rewarding journey!

The benefits of media training for your team
The first myth we’d like to bust is that media training is only beneficial for people who are interviewed by the media. This is not true! Media training is beneficial for everyone! Every company needs employees who can consistently advocate their brand with confidence, clarity and competence on and off camera.
Our blog goes over the top four benefits of media training and why it is a worthwhile skill to invest in. Not only does media training show you how to clarify your brand’s key messages, but it also boosts employee confidence, allows everyone to be on the same page, and prepares employees for difficult conversations and questions from anyone!
