Welcome to the March 2024 Edition of B2B Marketing Bytes

Whilst one of the main aims of running a successful business is securing new clients, the importance of retaining clients that you already have should never be overlooked. It is thought that when you compare the cost of losing a client to converting them, losing that client costs you the same in resources seven times over.???

This means that you don’t want to lose clients. Easier said than done right? Retaining clients is not easy, but it is the key to ensuring that you are as profitable and successful as you can be. Think of it this way, if you keep just 5% of your clients, then you can increase your potential profits to as much as 95%. That is a rather impressive statistic!???

So, with this in mind, let’s take a look at how you can master client loyalty and the strategies that will help you retain those hard-fought clients.???

?? Showcase your values - The values that you have as a company are going to be important to you. They will run through everything that you do, and that you share with the outside world, and of course, they will be a part of the experience and service that your clients will receive.???

?? Overdeliver wherever you can - One of the best ways that you can keep a client on board and loyal is to provide them with the very best service every time. Clients want to feel that they are being treated to a service that is over and beyond what they expect from you.???

?? Use client data to your advantage - Data is a great way to learn about your clients. You can discover who they are and even more importantly, what it is that they want from you. It is this data that you can then use to formulate a marketing plan to try and appeal to them.??

When it comes to attracting new clients to your tech firm, you are going to need to make sure that you make an effort on the marketing front. Whilst you can try and master marketing on your own, to make sure that it works for you, you are going to need to think about having an expert on board to take the lead.??

This is where a fractional marketing director can help.?

Here are some of the reasons why I believe that a fractional marketing director is the right choice and why you should be investing in this service.??

?? They are flexible - When you decide to utilise the service of a fractional marketing director, you are only going to need them as and when you need them. Which means not only will you save money, but overtime you can expand what they take off your hands.?

?? They can oversee the process - Whilst a fractional marketing director will be able to formulate the ideas that you can put in place, they can also make sure that these ideas pan out.?

?? They have new ideas and a fresh perspective - They will be able to take a look at what you currently have in place for your marketing and decide whether or not there are any improvements to be made.??

One of the most important parts of marketing yourself is creating an effective brand. However, it also seems to be one of the most overlooked.?

So many businesses seem to be focused on the short-term goals, those objectives for the here and the now, that they lose sight of those longer-term things that they want to achieve.???

An example of this is creating a brand. Branding is something that can be more important than you may realise and it is worthwhile putting the effort into.???

?? What impact does your brand have? - One of the key parts of branding is that it gives a sense of humanity to your business. Without a brand, you are going to find it hard to create a connection with your clients.

?? How to create the perfect brand campaign - When it comes to brand awareness, you should always start by finding out how your brand is currently seen, then you can start to make changes for the future.?

?? Measuring the success of your efforts - Once you have put all the effort in and done all the hard work, you should ascertain whether or not your marketing plans have been a success or not.?

Networking is a word that is often met with some amount of disdain. The idea of having to meet with other people and form a working relationship with them is not something that everyone is going to like or see the point in doing.???

But, the truth is, when it comes to building a law firm, networking can prove to be rather important.???

Don’t believe me? Here are some of the main inescapable reasons that networking for law firms is vitally important to do.??

?? It builds and sustains professional relationships - Networking, in the first instance, allows you to make a start on those all-important relationships, however, it goes even further than that, and, over time, it can also be a way to keep on building and working on those relationships.??

?? It can help with referrals - Not only does networking help you to move forward, but it also gives those who can make referrals about your firm, access to other potential clients to pass on their thoughts on what you can do.???

?? It allows you to share knowledge - Laws can change and evolve. Taking the time to network with other legal professionals is going to give you the chance to share knowledge that you may have (as well as learn new things that you didn’t know about).??
