Meet Joseph Toonga: "Imagination is a power."
Meet our Born Ambitious Ambassador, Royal Opera House choreographer, performer, and founder of Just Dance Theatre, Joseph Toonga. Connections with heritage and nature?????
Our Heritage Programme, made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, is tailored to help young Londoners connect with their cultural heritage, and uncover fascinating stories and traditions within their communities. Recently, we hosted our Creative Taster Day, so young people could showcase their findings creatively through dance, arts and crafts, poetry, and public speaking workshops.

We’re looking back to celebrate an incredible journey of discovery and connection with Nature Nurtures! ???? For many young people participating, it was a chance to break free from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse themselves in the beauty and calm that nature offers us. Through creative workshops and hands-on activities, they discovered new passions and talents, expressing their love for nature in vibrant and heartfelt ways. ????
You can view and download their work collected in the Nature Nurtures Anthologies here. Thank you to our project partners London Wildlife Trust , Spread The Word and Black Girls Hike UK C.I.C .
