The Gift of Mentoring
This festive season, give the gift of mentoring. Just one hour a week, for 9 months, could change a young life forever.
SAYes designs, delivers and supports international e-mentorship programmes, connecting independent volunteers and business teams with young people (14-32 years) seeking positive adult role models.
Enter the era of mentorship: scan the QR code on the video - or email [email protected] and quote 'GIFT', to request an application now.

Magnet Theatre put on a show to remember
Over 40 SAYes Mentees from our partner Child and Youth Care Centres St Michael’s, and Girls & Boys Town, were invited to a performance of Glimmer, courtesy of the Magnet Theatre Company. After the show, the young people were treated to a special Q&A with the actors. Thank you to SAYes Mentee Liaison Zizipho, for organising a day that the mentees will never forget.
Meet the SAYes Team - Joshua Woodroffe, Mentee Liaison
Josh spent time living in different parts of England but now lives back in London. He grew up with a predominantly sporting background which culminated in him playing football at the highest level with English Premiership club Crystal Palace.??
During his playing time at Palace, he was unfortunate to pick up recurring injuries. This led to some tricky downturns in his career and long periods of rehabilitation, to re-reach top fitness levels. It was during this time that he discovered SAYes where he credits his mentor, at the time, with supporting him and allowing him to assess aspects of his life and work. He still has a mentor, and states that it is a relief to know that he has someone to talk to when he is in a difficult or stressful situation.?
When not at work, Josh enjoys keeping active and continues to play sports which helps with both his physical and mental health.
Thank you so much for your support of our work at SAYes. You are truly appreciated. We could not do this without you.
