Welcome to the latest edition of our newsletter where we bring you our news and updates!

We've kicked off the New Year with bang! We've been busy delivering some incredible events and planning for a number of groups arriving with us very soon. Here's a little sneak peek of what we've been up to.

We had some fantastic news late last year as our very own Kate Galloway was yet again awarded a place on the incredibly prestigious Top 100 Women in Tourism. This is the second time Kate has appeared on the list! Kate was able to attend the Awards Ceremony at Edinburgh's Duck & Waffle. A fantastic room full of passionate women leading the way in Scottish tourism. It was great to hear about new business ideas, emerging projects; and catch up with peers from cross the industry.

K&N and Cameron House Hotel & Resort joined forces to host a client event in Paris promoting Scotland and a Burns Night theme. It included?whisky tasting, rustic cuisine, whisky cocktails and mocktails and?a toast to the great Scottish Bard. Slainte!

Casey went along to celebrate the launch of the new Press Bar, the latest offering from The Scotsman Hotel.

With an impressive Whisky collection it's a fantastic option for smaller groups looking for a pre-or-post-dinner drink.

Finally, Kate volunteered to participate as a speaker at an extra special event - Modern Languages Speed-Networking at Holy Rood RC High School, designed to showcase the incredible ways languages can open doors in the world of work.

With over 200 pupils attending, it was a brilliant opportunity to showcase how languages can be useful in different careers. 95% of the pupils involved said the event improved their knowledge of the world of work! Kate is fluent in two European languages and uses them daily when talking to clients abroad. 78% of the students described the event as "engaging," "informative," and "fun!" A huge thank you to the team at Developing the Young Workforce for including us in their incredibly worthwhile work. Unfortunately we can't share photos of the event, but we think this quote sums it up perfectly.
