ADVERTISING - TV

Disney creates a heartwarming Christmas story.

Director Taika Waititi has brought to life a charming tale of a boy's beach vacation and his newfound friend, an octopus.

Creative Review has an article with details about the commercial, you can read it, and watch the spot, in the links below.

Here is a snippet.

The Boy and the Octopus, directed by Taika Waititi, explores true friendship via the tale of a young boy who becomes physically attached to a baby octopus while swimming in the sea. After introducing the sea creature to his life back home on land, the boy constructs a plan to help his new friend see more of the world on Santa’s sleigh. The film is set to a melodic rendition of Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid, which reflects the octopus’ desire to explore the world beyond the ocean.

Bangkok Creative Workshops - Jan 2025
