Welcome

To #KTL’s monthly newsletter where we bring you the latest company updates, and highlights from recent weeks.

KTL and ESB Networks

KTL were thrilled to host the team from Networks this month, Alan Hanamy, KTL CEO commented, “I would like to thank Brian Brady, PC Lynch and Declan Whyte for visiting KTL’s Office and Training Centre.

"It was great for our staff to hear about the massive plans ESBN have to upgrade the electricity network to support Ireland’s future economic growth and to play a major role in decarbonising our environment.

"KTL have been working with ESB Networks for >20 years and we look forward to supporting them in the future. ESBN have a great partnership model with their service providers, and this was well illustrated by the lads taking so much time with us, to personally communicate their plans and to emphasise the utmost importance of safety as we ramp up to support them.”

To support our partner ESB Networks with their ambitious growth plans and address the skills shortage in Ireland, we sought skilled and talented overhead line workers from the power sector in the Philippines – bridging the skills gap while helping to maintain KTL's highest standards of safety and quality.

We pride ourselves on our diverse workforce of over 600 staff across 22 countries each person bringing their unique skills, perspectives, and experiences to the table. This diversity is one of our greatest strengths. Our new overhead line workers have gone through a comprehensive training programme to work safely and effectively, adhering to both ESB Networks and KTL key requirements. Safety is paramount at KTL.

We promote an active role in safety for all staff members to ensure work is conducted safely at all times. To find out more about the KTL Power division visit: https://www.ktl.ie/power
