Welcome to the June 2024 Edition of B2B Marketing Bytes
If you want to maximise the chances that your professional services firm is going to be successful, you are going to want to have the ideal team behind you. Marketing teams can make or break the efforts to promote and market a brand.
This means that you need to do whatever you can to make sure that the team that you have is the right fit for your professional services firm and brings the right skills that you are going to need to have on hand to boost your marketing efforts.??
It doesn’t matter whether or not you decide to have this marketing team as an in-house team, or something that you outsource to a marketing agency.?
So, where do you start when it comes to building this dream team?
Here are some of the key people that you are going to need to have in your marketing team, and what they do:
?? Marketing Manager - Responsible for day-to-day operations when it comes to marketing and also for managing the relationships that you as a firm have with your clients. They are also going to decide what marketing efforts you need to carry out as a firm and who is going to be best placed to do them.???
?? Social Media Team -? Manage social media within your firm. They are there to ensure that anything that you post or engage with on social media is going to increase your presence and showcase you in the most positive light possible.???
?? Content Creation Team- Whilst this may be focused around social media posts and blogs, it can also cover things such as infographics, ebooks and even the content for webinars. They will not only create the content, but they will also understand the best routes to take to share and promote this.?

When you work within an accountancy firm, whether that is part of a team or on your own, you are going to want to try and be as successful as possible.??
To do that, you are going to need to find as many ways as possible to attract new clients.??
?Here are my top 3 tips to attract new clients to your accountancy firm:
?? Regularly post - Content is a key aspect of marketing. The key to engagement is to keep up with your posting schedule, if you start to have too long a gap between your posts, then you are going to find that your audience will start to shrink.???
? Encourage reviews of what you do - You should ask for reviews because this means that potential clients can see what the client experience is like within your firm and have peace of mind that you are going to be able to provide them with a good service.???
???? Give your website a refresh - I recommend that you carry out a website check and refresh around once a year. This will help you to think about what is performing well, what needs to be updated on your website and whether or not you have added new services to your firm that may need to be added to your website too.???

However, it is important to remember that to ensure that LinkedIn works for you as a brand, you are going to need to know exactly how to use it to attract clients.???
It isn’t always easy to know where to start when it comes to attracting clients with LinkedIn strategies for your B2B firm.?
Here are my top tips:
?? Involve the entire team - Whilst there are going to be certain members of your team who are involved in marketing you as a B2B brand; it doesn’t mean that others working within your business aren’t able to provide useful insights and assist in marketing you as a brand.
?? Be visible in relevant groups - Find out groups that match not only you as a brand, but also the clients that you are trying to market to, and then join them. Be present in these groups, be visible, engage with others in the group and find out more about what they are saying.?
??? Try out LinkedIn Live - If you want to make an impact, then you are going to need to push yourself a little out of your comfort zone and try a live stream instead. Live videos are a great way to encourage audience engagement, you can make them somewhat interactive, which means that you are going to be bringing your audience into the journey with you!?
