The CPD uses a Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DfMA) overlay to the conventional Plan of Work to highlight the differences between offsite and traditional construction, while case studies from architects illustrate what can be achieved with offsite.
The CPD also covers common questions around fire safety, planning and sustainability, before finishing with practical guidance on design considerations and optimising building performance.?

Algeco named UK Ports Temporary Structures & Welfare Hire Company of the Year 2023
The team at Algeco UK were delighted to take home the award for Temporary Structures & Welfare Hire Company of the Year 2023, at the prestigious UK Ports Conference and Awards, which took place in Hull last month.
This recognition coincides with the publication of the Modulaire Group’s latest Global Sustainability Report which shows a huge 26% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions globally since 2020.
These savings mean that our temporary buildings and site accommodation for hire can support your organisation’s journey towards greater sustainability.
It comes at a time when the International Maritime Organization (IMO) is marking a decade of action on cutting greenhouse gas emissions from shipping, too.
Circularity, adaptability, and leasing are at the core of our sustainability strategy. This ‘loops within loops’ model employs circular economy principles to minimise waste, virgin materials and the embodied carbon throughout its whole operations and activities.
