At the recent Startup Mahakumbh in Delhi, Startup India celebrated its upcoming 10th anniversary, showcasing the remarkable progress of Indian startups. With government backing, the event, initially conceived by seasoned VCs and entrepreneurs, underscored the depth and breadth of the Indian startup ecosystem in 2024.

Innovative Showcase:

IAN portfolio company, Noccarc, proudly presented its innovative ICU ventilators. It was an honor for Noccarc to explain the intricate workings of their ventilators to Shri Prashant Kumar Singh, CEO of Government e Marketplace (GeM) under the Government of India Official, showcasing the collaborative spirit driving India's startup ecosystem.

Big news! IAN scored big at the Winpe Leadership Awards 2024!

Padmaja Ruparel, our Co-founder, clinched the VC of the Year Award for her remarkable contributions. Plus, our investment in Evolve won Deal of the Year, a mental health startup aiming to make care more inclusive, especially for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Indian Angel Network led Evolve’s follow-on funding round of ?2.5 Cr. Niraj Saran, a prominent Silicon Valley-based technology and business leader, headlined the round on IAN’s behalf.

IAN's portfolio company, OnFinance AI, made waves at #MWC24 (Mobile World Congress 2024) in Barcelona!

Co-founder, Anuj Srivastava, delved into the realms of Open Source AI, AI Regulations, Sustainable AI, Ethical AI and the transformative potential of Generative AI and LLMs. It was a great experience overall with hundreds of people joining the audience attending the panel.

On the occasion of 10 Years of Make-In-India, Dhruva Space was recognised at the the recent The Times Of India Group’s ‘The Festival of Manufacturing, or ?????? ?????,’ in New Delhi, as a key contributor to the Nation’s ecosystem.

Accepting the accolade for Team Dhruva Space, Col. Rajneesh Rally, Vice President - Growth Operations, also spoke on ‘Revolutionising India’s Aerospace and Defence Landscape: A Decade of Make in India’.

And last but not the least, Check out the phenomenal growth achieved by one of IAN's portfolio companies, Zypp Electric, in the past fiscal year.

Zypp Electric has posted a phenomenal 3X revenue growth in FY 2024 at Rs 325 crore

Here are some key highlights of the company’s achievements.

• 396% compound annual growth from 2019-2022.
• Expanded to six major cities, including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
• Increased deployment from 11,000 to 20,000 electric scooters.
• Completed over 45 million shipments from January 2023 to February 2024.
• Enabled 53,000 delivery executives to use electric vehicles.
• Reduced 29 million kilograms of carbon emissions.
• Plans to start services in Hyderabad and expand to a new city every quarter.
• Aims to increase fleet from 20,000 to 100,000 vehicles in 12-18 months and to 500,000 in 36-48 months.
• Targets profitability along with growth.
