Qinshift is a leader in OpenEHR

Qinshift is a company that uses cutting-edge technological solutions such as AI and LLM to solve challenges in, among other things, the health sector.

One solution, which is also the smartest one, is called OpenEHR, which is an open standard for health information that supports exchange and interoperability between different information systems, applications and platforms. EHR is an acronym for Electronic Health Records or Electronic patient records in Swedish, and the founding of the overall organization OpenEHR goes all the way back to 2003.

Although it has been more than 20 years since the organization was founded, it is only now in recent years that we are beginning to see a more global spread of the solutions and standards that OpenEHR presents, and in order to better understand the benefits of them, IT-H?lsa was given the opportunity to talk to Hansa Andersson , VP Growth industries at Qinshift Sweden.

Insights from the largest Nordic conference and exhibition focused on transforming healthcare and social welfare - Vitalis

Hansa, would you tell us something more about this year’s Vitalis conference as the Nordic region's foremost meeting place for healthcare? What are the trends for the upcoming year?

Hansa: "This year Vitalis attracted over 6,000 participants to a massive program with more than 700 lecturers and 400 program items, which surely underlines its importance as a meeting place for the future of healthcare.

Many of the topics centered around the emphasized importance of digitization and collaboration to meet the challenges in the healthcare sector. This year's event also focused on preparedness and security, as well as launching the Vitalis Innovation Area to promote innovation and entrepreneurship.

Across the three days this theme resonated strongly, and despite the financial challenges many health regions and municipalities experience, the number of visitors increased compared to previous years, which just underlines Vitali's importance and relevance. For us at Qinshift this event really fueled our ambition and desire to be part of this important change that needs to happen within healthcare."
