As a CEO and Executive Leadership Coach, I know the journey to becoming a great leader is both challenging and rewarding. Unlike typical leadership listicles, "From The Ground Up" aims to share genuine, firsthand leadership experiences. Join me as I share my transition from a learning & leadership development professional, to leadership coach, to CEO of Consciously, sharing valuable lessons along the way.
While in title I've been a CEO since we founded Consciously in 2017, my journey as CEO truly began in 2022. Until then, Consciously , co-founded with my wife, functioned as a small coaching and counseling venture. Hiring two senior leaders in 2022 marked my true transformation into CEO. And this period has been a profound learning experience, filled with challenges, reflection, and action as I learn about and become the CEO I want to be.
Through this journey, I’ve begun to realize my vision for Consciously and my want to create a meaningful, purpose-driven impact, all while growing “From The Ground Up.”
Lesson
True leadership extends beyond titles; it's about impact and intention. My journey has taught me that transformational leadership is built on purpose-driven actions and a commitment to positive change.
