Have you experienced sexism in the workplace? Despite many positive steps towards progress, gender inequality still affects people in every part of the world. Sexism at work inevitably disadvantages women everyday and over the course of their lifetime in financial, social and psychological aspects. Even today, women continue to make less money than men on average, remain underrepresented in top management positions, and are much more likely to become targets of workplace sexual harassment. It also harms society at large, since women aren't able to fulfill their potential. Based on current trends, the first to achieve gender equality will be Western Europe - in 61 years! North America is the worst offender, with a gender gap expected to persist for another 168 years. We can't wait that long. We need to take steps now to achieve gender equality faster. EQT brings us closer to that goal by arming people with the tools you need to recognise and call out gender bias and sexism in the workplace.
