Welcome Dr Paul Hunter, EDT's new Chief Data Scientist

It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome industry luminary, Dr Paul Hunter as EDT’s new Chief Data Scientist.

Dr Hunter will drive innovation at EDT in the areas of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Natural Language Processing. He will also deliver expert testimony and strategic advisory services for EDT clients.

Working for the last two decades in commercial software development and much of the last ten years in eDiscovery, Dr Hunter has applied both his deep insights into client requirements and his PhD in mathematics to architect and deliver commercial grade solutions for many complex litigation and investigation workflows.

Dr Hunter played a key role in the design, development, and adoption of predictive coding in both the US and Australia and is a recognised thought leader in the regulatory investigation and eDiscovery sectors. He speaks frequently on the application of machine learning and AI in the law and has been engaged as an expert advisor in key court cases involving the use of predictive coding.
