Celebrating Black History Month UK

We're celebrating Black History Month in the UK this October. This year's theme is the pioneering black women who have blazed a trail throughout history. CGS is marking the month-long event by sharing news, information, and resources via its dedicated Black History Hub and holding events to raise awareness. Marilyn Gentle-Walsh, CATS Global School's Diversity Lead, comments:

"In 2020, CGS made a commitment to promote inclusion and opportunities for the black community. As educators, we are positioned to promote self-education while celebrating the achievements of our staff and past and present icons of the black community. Providing easy access to resources is a way to empower staff and students throughout the academic year – after all, you cannot teach what you didn't learn."
