Biz-Latvia is a “Latvian Centric” international Business/Networking group. We Latvians aren't just "living in our country" — we're living on planet Earth! With over 8 billion people sharing this planet with us, we're proactively building a POWERFUL International Network that enables us to meet and greet people from all corners of the globe, conduct business, and even forge new international ventures collaboratively.

Today, we boast more than 3,200 members, including 1,700 Latvians living and working all over the WORLD. When people join us, they often ask the same questions:

At Biz-Latvia, we're constantly trying new things and experimenting with better ways to meet and connect with people effectively.

After Joining:

As soon as you join, we invite you to post and promote your business or project. We want our community to support each other, and we want to see you promote yourself as effectively as possible. Start posting! That will get you noticed as soon as possible.

Welcome Team:

We've recently launched a Welcome Team! If you're eager to create numerous networking opportunities for yourself and others, please consider joining this team. It's a simple yet invaluable role for our members. The Welcome Team scans for new members and adds them to our Welcome HUB. Here, you can meet people from our admin team as well as our country HUB managers.

Here, we familiarize ourselves with the concept of sharing who we are, what we offer, and who we're looking to connect with. We're all constantly networking and learning. Our goal is to foster abundance for each other through the magic of networking.

Country HUBS:

Not long ago, we established a network of country HUBS in the form of group chats. This enables members to connect with others based on their geographic interests. If you live in Germany but want to meet people in the USA, you can! And it's fast! Simply join those two HUBS and participate. While things may quiet down in Biz-Latvia at times, active participation can lead to meeting numerous people.

Trust is something we cultivate. It takes time to build these HUBS and create a micro-community of trust and understanding. But we're making it happen! We have an abundance of amazing people who understand that by helping others connect, they themselves can meet many more people.

HUBS are a fantastic idea. Last year, in the Ukraine HUB, we discovered that it actually takes about 3 people to manage a single HUB, and on top of that, people need to rotate every about 90 days before they get burned out. So, if you're interested in making a difference, learning, and getting many more networking opportunities, consider volunteering to co-manage a country HUB!

ZOOM ZOOM!

On and off, we keep experimenting with "meet and greet" events on Zoom. By the way, if you want to start your own, just create a post with info, and we'll support you. This is OUR group, and you have our permission to GO FOR IT!

During Meet and Greet events, we share our networking goals as well as any projects or events we're working on. These events are amazing when people show up. In less than 30 minutes, 3-5 people can truly connect with each other. Think about how incredible that is! No need to fly all the way to another country or even drive across town.

Boom! You're there with others from all over the world, ready to NETWORK.

During these events, we say hello and get acquainted. Then we share our goals and review our networks to see if we know anyone who they are looking for or could help find the people we are looking for. We know a lot more people than we think, and you'll be surprised at who you can meet if and when you ask.

Not everyone is comfortable with Zoom calls, but we recommend you give these a try. It doesn't take very long to adjust, and the speed at which you can get to know people is just incredible.

Special Interest Groups:

In a group as large as ours, we have subgroups and are looking for more. If you have a special interest and don't see a HUB for that but would be willing to host it, please let me know, and we can post something and promote that interest group.

Participation:

Networking is a skill that almost all successful people have. It's not natural, and it's not easy.

If you want RESULTS, you need to PARTICIPATE. We want you to be successful, but we can't do it for you. It might not be easy, but it sure can be fun. As soon as people start helping others find people, something remarkable happens. They suddenly understand how to express themselves more effectively regarding their networking goals.
