Welcome to Biz-Latvia! Biz-Latvia was created 10 years ago with many other Biz-Country groups on LinkedIn. Biz-Ukraine, Biz-Estonia, etc...

Five years ago we took a poll to learn why people joined Biz-Latvia. Networking and growing business relations was the number one reason for 60% of our members.

Since then, we have started to develop structures so people can meet and greet with the types of people they want to do business with.


Welcome TEAM!

Do you want to have a crazy amount of networking opportunities? How about assisting at the front door?!?

We just started to develop a Welcome TEAM! The idea is simple. People on the welcome team welcome new members and share about our country HUBS as well as ask new members about their networking goals.

Being on this team allows all our members to meet YOU! You will be able to assist managers of country HUBS and participate in discussions on how to grow and organize our group.

We are INTERNATIONAL! So there are so many things to learn about along with our growing membership.

Country HUB Concept:

Ok... You joined a networking group with 3,200 members. Now what?!? ?? Seriously, More than 1000 men and women asked that question.

Just before the invasion of Ukraine, we started to create country HUBS and group chats by topics of Interest. This way, if you wanted to get involved with Start-Ups and were only interested in USA and Latvia. You could join 2 country HUBS and 1 group chat all about start-ups. Now... Instead of trying to get friendly with 3,200 people you are only chatting with 150 or less.

Every member in Biz-Latvia is encouraged to promote themselves, their business and projects inside the larger group in the form of group posts. This makes it possible for HUBS to share highlights from their HUBS with the entire group!


HUB Management:

Lets get realistic for a minute. Just one person can be an absolute handful never mind fifty! We are looking at how we can streamline communications to make people's experience pleasurable and productive.

The above graphic does a good job at illustrating people and activity as well as willingness to participate in dialogs and activities.

In a medium size group there will always be some very social people. They will be in the red and yellow zones. They are awesome at knowing who is who and what is going on socially in their community.

Our current breakdown is that these HUBS require an incredible amount of energy to keep dialogs going and keeping up a certain esthetics of a group conversation.


Groups Leading a Group:

Basically is takes at least 3 people to "co-lead" or manage a HUB. Not any one person has all the skills but 3 people have done very well when they lead HUBS.

Again... This is another fantastic networking opportunity. If you take on managing a HUB... be it a country HUB our interest group, you become the contact person. You will be the one to meet and greet. As you assist others with meeting more people... you will be meeting a lot more people! ??

It can be very challenging. When you need support, it is fantastic to have others to talk with as you resolve issues. With three leaders taking on the rest of the group they each got two buddies! People are either wonderful or absolute monsters! ?? We know that! ??

We are looking for groups of 3 to lead our country HUBS.
