As we prepare for Youth Mental Health Day on the 19th of September, we’re excited to share some important updates with you! From the activities we’ve planned for Youth Mental Health Day to attending the NIHR Initiative Symposium, we’ve been working hard to provide more ways to support the mental health of young people.

It was World Suicide Prevention Day on the 10th of September. Sometimes life’s challenges can feel so big that they can affect a person’s ability to cope. At these times, some young people can have thoughts of suicide, which, if combined with depression can lead to self-harm and suicidal behaviours. However, there is hope that suicide is preventable by knowing the warning signs and by understanding steps to make a change, even when change feels impossible. Read more here.

We are calling all schools and colleges to sign up and enter our YMHD School Fundraising Challenge. The school to raise the most awareness and funds for stem4 will be crowned 'stem4 Ambassador School' of 2024 to 2025. Register your school to access our fundraising resources.
Live Event: "Demystifying Parenting in an Online World"
We are running a free live event on the 26th of September for parents and carers, hosted at Emanuel School (Battersea Rise, London SW11 1HS).
