Welcome back: The Edinburgh Festival

Welcome back: The Edinburgh Festival

It will soon be time for the Edinburgh Festival 2022 as the world's largest arts festival returns to Scotland at the start of August. A huge opportunity for businesses across Scotland with a month of activity. (Edinburgh's population normally doubles)

The Edinburgh Festival usually sells over 4 millions tickets and in 2019 the Edinburgh Fringe alone sold 3 million+ tickets, a huge global event (only the Olympics & Football World Cup are bigger) that creates an an ideal chance for businesses to access huge numbers of international visitors and get their attention when most are relaxed and in holiday mode.

It's another opportunity for Scotland to be on the world's stage (excuse the pun!) coming almost immediately after the sell-out 150th Open Championship Golf at the Home of Golf, St Andrews. St Andrews was packed with international visitors and Edinburgh is likely to be the same as visitors return to their beloved Scotland after years away. Hopefully many local businesses can take part, especially those in hospitality and tourism which were so hard hit by the pandemic.

We're back with our 'A Club' at the stunning Merchants Hall in the city centre for a month of fun across August with a mixture of live music (local; tribute & traditional), whisky & gin tastings, along with table served Arbikie cocktails & drinks. We'll be spotlighting our climate-positive gin and vodka, Nadar and explaining the importance of sustainable spirits during our gin tastings. We're looking forward to welcoming our many regular performers and guests and also those from across the world that come to the A Club for the very first time. You will be very welcome.

Good luck to all those involved, to all the performers and artists from across the world and to all those providing hospitality and working across this busiest of months. Here's to a very successful return of the full Edinburgh Festival and to this amazing celebration of the arts from across the globe!!
