This initiative, part of the NPS Mobility Challenge Program, showcases our commitment to delivering sustainable, accessible, and innovative public transportation solutions. By integrating ADASTEC’s advanced automated driving software platform at the OEM level into Vicinity's low-floor, accessible electric bus, we are enhancing sustainable mobility solutions while preserving the park's natural beauty. This project highlights ADASTEC's advanced technology and strong industry partnerships.

ADASTEC, in collaboration with Karsan, achieves another milestone as it prepares to deploy an automated bus in Switzerland, marking a first in the country! ??????
With the participation of ADASTEC's CCO, Ali ?hsan DANI?MAN , alongside project owner TGA, bus operator EUROBUS Ostschweiz AG , and Karsan Automotive , the SCCL project in Arbon, Switzerland, has been officially initiated! ????
With the signing of the agreements, the project is now underway, paving the way for Switzerland's first SAE Level-4 automated public transport bus. This deployment is designed to seamlessly connect Arbon's historic old town with the new Saurer Werk 2 district via a scenic 2.2 km route along the lake promenade. It marks a significant step in advancing urban mobility and enhancing connectivity within the city. Stay tuned for updates as we move forward in transforming public transportation.

ADASTEC’s latest publication in the IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems Journal: "Determination of Optimum Coordinate Transformation Parameters for GNSS and LiDAR-Based Localization in Automated Vehicles "?
Localization is crucial for automated vehicles (AVs). While GNSS is commonly used, its accuracy can be low in urban areas and tunnels. This paper explores the use of LiDAR-SLAM as an alternative method, aiming to verify AV localization by finding accurate coordinate transformation parameters (CTPs) between GNSS and LiDAR-SLAM data. It employs Conditional Adjustment with an Unknown Model (CAUM), Total Least Square (TLS), and Umeyama (UM) transformation methods, enhanced by a voxel-based approach for improved efficiency. The results highlight the performance of these methods and their usability in real-time scenarios.
