You may not necessarily put together the idea of video marketing with a law firm but as YouTube is recognised as being the most popular website after Google it is a great way to ensure your law firm is recognised.?

So, to help you get it right, I have created my back to basics guide for law firm video marketing—the 101 guide on what you need to do to get video content right.

??? Learn about your audience - To really make sure your videos appeal to your audience you need to learn who they are, what they watch, and of course, what they need.

?? Optimise content - To ensure that your videos get through the noise of the other videos out there you need to think about the keywords that you share in your title and description.?

?? See how it is going - To make sure your Youtube efforts are working for you it is important to check on the reports and tracking metrics available on the platform.

LinkedIn can be extremely valuable when growing and marketing your law firm. It is the perfect professional tool (ideal for professional services), introducing new features that law firms can use to their advantage.??

One of these is the Newsletter feature. But how can you make sure it really lands with your audience? Here are my top tips to help you:

?? Create Intrigue - The best way to create a Newsletter is to contain around half of what you want the reader to know. The rest of the content should be pointed out in a call to action that they will need to follow in order to find out more.???

?? Tailor your content - You will need to make sure that you have a good understanding of what your audience wants and needs from you. Otherwise, you could completely miss the mark.?

?? Test, test, test - The only way to find out whether or not your efforts are a success is to make sure that you test your content and the reaction to it.

??? Host a virtual event - Live events could offer a great way to share solutions that you may have to common issues and answer any questions posed to you. The good news is that LinkedIn is designed to help you to host virtual events too.
