UK Radon Map Update - What It Means For Sites Across The UK?

The UK Health Security Agency and the British Geological Survey (BGS) have recently published an updated radon potential map for Great Britain; we have started to see projects being reclassified as needing either basic radon protection or full protective measures. If you are building in an area with elevated radon potential, you must install radon protection.

Product Spotlight: Atal Groundsil RB

Atal Groundsil RB is a radon resisting membrane; radon barriers provide significant protection and are relatively cheap to install in new buildings.

When installed as per the BRE and NHBC recommendations, Atal Groundsil RB also acts as a damp proof membrane to protect the building against the ingress of moisture from the ground.?
