Welcome Alexandra Labarthe our new General Manager for Golden Tulip Le Diplomate Cotonou!

We are very happy to welcome to Golden Tulip Africa family a new General Manager of Golden Tulip Le Diplomate Cotonou Alexandra Labarthe, she had joined hotel in April, and we had a chance to talk to her and to find out more about her and her experiences.

• Are you happy to be in Benin? Your first impressions of the country and culture??

“I?am very happy to be in Benin and to have this chance to discover Cotonou. People are so welcoming and the culture is very diverse. It is really rewarding as it is my first experience in Africa. I’ m still in the process of discovering all the typical dishes.”

• What is your leadership style?

“Collaborative management.?I love to discover the best in every person and push them as far as I can towards success.”

• In your opinion, which factors contribute to excellent customer service and unique hospitality experience??

“You have to love to take care of people. Our job is mainly to create smooth, lovely and pleasant surroundings and go beyond our customers needs and expectations.”

• Would you like to share your previous experience?

“25 years in Hospitality industry. I started my career in USA: was trained at Disneyworld in Florida to Hotel Manager for Norwegian Cruise Lines. I, then continued my journey in France in various hotels working as transition manager, handling openings, as well as, conceptualizing, introducing and integrating innovative strategies, streamlining resources to maximize performance and quality standards.”
