Welcome to AESP. Are You With Me?

Welcome to AESP. Are You With Me?

In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, I joined the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) as its new CEO. The onboarding process was certainly not what I would consider normal. But these days, what does normal really look like? Regardless of the circumstances, our work must go on. I will admit that we are still figuring out how to craft the best possible virtual forums to best serve our active community of energy professionals. Given all of the current challenges we are facing in our world, there has never been a more critical time for us to work together to keep our industry moving forward, virtually or otherwise.

If you aren't currently a member of AESP, I encourage you to join me. It won’t be just me, of course. You’ll also be joining a diverse group of more than 2200 other AESP members, each focused on the advancement of Demand-side Management, Demand Response and Distributed Energy Resources within their respective careers. As a member, AESP will provide you with a forum for sharing your ideas as a speaker at one of our many events, or through the joint publications of our Topic Committees or through our participation in one of our 12 Regional Chapters. You’ll also have access to over 25 webinars each year, accredited eLearning and in-person (eventually!) training programs, informative member-only publications, and discounted or free attendance at our conferences and events. We’ll be launching our first Virtual Conference September 1-3, so join now to be a part of this amazing event!

I encourage you to learn more about us on our website: https://www.aesp.org/ As a member of my professional network, AESP is extending to you a special 15% discount on a utility, group or an Individual Membership if you join before Sept. 30. Please use the code JoinwithJen when you sign up to receive your discount.

At AESP, our goal is to provide you with the resources and community platform you need to tackle critical energy issues like the shift from conservation goals to decarbonization goals, the growth of transportation electrification, designing more inclusive distributed energy programs and digital consumer engagement. I hope you will join the conversation!

All the best,

Jen
