Welcome to the Accessible Metaverse

As I continue to work on the DesignA11y newsletter, I am starting by grouping my past articles into Editions by theme or topic.

Edition 2 includes my collection of content about creating an accessible and inclusive metaverse.

A fun video introducing the concept of Metaverse accessibility and what I experience with a Vestibular Disability

I have already written pieces about the importance of accessibility in virtual worlds and how to create a welcoming environment for disabled users.

Now I'm looking at how game developers can build an accessible metaverse for everyone.

This includes everything from designing virtual worlds with intuitive interfaces to making sure all levels in a game are accessible to those who may have difficulty navigating them.

I'm also exploring how technology can be used to create interactive experiences that are suited to people of all abilities, such as using voice commands or haptic feedback.
