In November 2023, Donkey Republic achieved a significant milestone by securing a long-term contract in Hannover, Germany. ?? The contract, valued at approximately 8.8 million DKK, spans a duration of three years with the potential for extensions in two-year increments. Under the agreement, Donkey Republic not only operates a bike share system but also has the opportunity to manage rider revenue, explore potential sponsorships, and engage with corporate partners. ??
This accomplishment is a testament to Donkey Republic's successful execution of its Business-to-Government (B2G) strategy, marking a pivotal step in the company's path toward profitability. ?? The strategic importance of this contract is underscored by Germany being a core focus market and a key driver for future growth. ?? With this contract, Donkey Republic expands its footprint in Germany, complementing existing operations in the Kiel Region and Schleswig/Flensburg in the northern part of the country. ????
Anticipated to launch in the second quarter of 2024, the Hannover project signifies a substantial expansion for Donkey Republic and reinforces its commitment to sustainable and innovative mobility solutions in Germany. ??♂??
